This residential project in Baguio Villa is a modern apartment designed for a four-person family. With changing work habits following the pandemic, creating an effective work-from-home setup became a central design priority.
ConceptualizationandPlanning
Design Process
A defining feature of the home is the vertically arranged study/me-cave zone, which serves the family’s needs in different ways: the children enjoy a cozy “me-cave,” while the father works in a dedicated study area that provides focus without isolating him from the household.
Implementation
Design Process
The two children’s bedrooms are also semi-connected by a sliding door, allowing the spaces to adapt between private study areas and a larger shared playroom. When opened, the layout creates visual continuity—even enabling the father to see through from his workstation into both rooms—fostering a sense of connection while maintaining flexibility. This thoughtful arrangement balances functionality, interaction, and privacy, creating a home that adapts seamlessly to modern family living.
